September, you are drunk. You need to go home now…
What is UP with this month? We had a sweltering jungle-like day last week, where it felt like 40 C outside, and the next day, the temps fell to something like 16 C. And then it went up again. And then down again. HELLO, CANADA. (So much for that Indian Summer I’d been praying for… meh.)
Anyway. Getting dressed lately requires layers, and maybe a little bit of ESP. I’ve been drawn to gauze-y, diaphanous kinds of things as of late, like this super-lightweight cardigan thingie. I can tie it up if I want it to lie close to my body, but I’m trying to stay loose and positive about all this dust in the house, and about the fact that 80% of the windows in this house are shrouded in plastic, and it’s darker than I like in here, and there are work-dudes all over the place, and it’s noisy as hell, and oy, but they listen to TERRIBLE radio all day, and did I mention all the dust?
I’m trying to feel the way I look in this pic – breezy as hell. Namaste and whatnot. *exhales*
Only it’s kind of chilly, even when I’m wearing my toque in the house… I’m thinking breezy needs a chunkier sweater. And I’d totally be warmer if I put on some socks.
And maybe a bra, too.
