I have Royal Wedding fever.
I am not ashamed to admit it. Not even a little bit.
I love this stuff. I have been watching a heck of a lot of the coverage that has been ongoing over the last month. The biggest question I have, though, is about Kate’s dress. I am dying to see what sort of look she will go for. I have been looking at predictions and hearing that she will have two! three! four! five! dresses. I have been hearing rumors about different designers. Below are a few that I have seen that I love…and I think would be great for The Royal Bride.

I’m not sure, but I think it did need to have shoulders at least, maybe even sleeves, to be worn in the abbey? Her pick was very Grace Kelly, and lovely, but not really exciting. Maybe as Linda says, it was too much expectation? I liked her later pick, a simple strapless with a little sweater. Pretty, sweet, simple.
Well, I just saw the dress and while she looks beautiful, I am a bit under-whelmed. Maybe the build-up was too much? She stayed very traditional, but I guess I was expecting more!
I will up watching it! I watched the first one as a wee child, I still vaguely remember it. Hehehe. I have made a whole program at work to watch it with my patients. We all can’t wait.
I think she will not go strapless but she will definitely be cutting edge!

I’m just hoping it will be kind of modern. Even in the 80’s Princess Di’s dress was a bit pouffy for my taste. (I love the second and the fourth…)
I have the fever too! Those dresses are freaking amazing that you picked!!! Maybe she’ll shock us all and come out in Diana’s crinkley number…:)!
