This past Saturday we celebrated my 10th anniversary of being a mom firstborn’s TENTH birthday.
Ten. Wow. I’ve had this spectacular boy in my life for 10 years now.
I am blessed.
He had a great birthday weekend starting off with a PD Day during which he played road hockey. all. day. long.
On Saturday Sean (aka: best dad/husband in the world) took Cam, Cuyler and three of Cam’s friends to the movies and then brought them back home for a sleepover. On Sunday I took off before 8am to shop with my cousin in Buffalo, leaving Sean too cook pancakes with a houseful of kids (see now? best dad/husband in the world? Yep. He is.)

My favourite part about the weekend? When Cuyler ran out from the kitchen and handed this to Cam:

Ahhh…the electric guitar, and just to check, Cam is 10, right? hee hee Cam is Marley’s cool dude idol and she has the drum set to prove it. I can’t let her see the guitar, not yet:)

Ha! That’s nothing. He was just messing around here. When he’s really into a song – he makes this guitar face that’s embarrassing for me to look at.
I’m not sure what’s worse – the electric guitar or the full drum set he got 2 years ago.
