I feel like “find the perfect red lipstick” is on everyone’s makeup wishlist. While I can’t actually GUARANTEE that this one is perfect for you, I feel like the odds are good that it might be. NYC Ultra Moist Lipwear in Sheer Red is a marvel. As its name indicates, it’s a gorgeous and sheer red, which means it works pretty well on most people’s coloring. The price can’t be beat, and at $1, it’s basically risk-free, on the off chance that it doesn’t suit you. (I’ve confirmed that it is available in Canada, at Wal-Mart, apparently).
I love wearing it; it’s red enough to pop, but sheer enough so that I don’t feel self-conscious wearing it. It’s a perfect shade for someone looking to take the leap into wearing a red lip. (“Wearing a red lip.” WHO DO I THINK I AM?)
