Here’s a list of passwords that my 45 year old brain has to remember:
Facebook, Yahoo, TD Bank, Movable Type, Twitter, MSN, Chowhound, MacBook, Second Cup Free Wifi, Starbucks Free Wifi, StumbledUpon, Linkedin, Flickr, iTunes, iPhone…is that enough? Did I already forget one…HA…Im losing it just making a list!
I don’t write down the passwords (smart?) and use at least three different types of passwords with a variety of usernames and of course a combination of letters AND numbers.
What does your list look like? is it similar to my list? How do you cope remembering all the passwords. My parents had it it easy…I’m pretty sure they didn’t have to remember ONE single password when they raised me in the 1960’s, and 1970’s. I will have to ask them.
Wouldn’t you know that life has changed in a MAJOR WAY. Infact, I never go to the gym with a lock because heaven forbid I have to remember a combination!!

Have actually any person an theory just what kind for software is considered to be helpful for an rookie?

Hi – I hear you ! With work and non work applications , I must have over 40 passwords and usernames. Some “force” me to change them monthly and all have letters and numbers in them. So …my solution…..I have a litle black book ! No…not with old girlfriend telephone numbers – but with all the usernames , URL’s and passwords. The book is put in a safe place and has served me well !
