The twins Thatcher and Tanner haven’t even turned 2 yet, however, they have taken control over this house!
The other night I took Marie to training. She finished late that night so we didn’t get home until almost 10pm. I expected the twins to be in bed sleeping like the little angels that they are.
Ummm yeah, like what was I thinking?
Apparently after I left they never even slept. Tanner (the smaller one no less!) kept getting out of his crib. he would then go over to Thatchers crib and take all sorts of things from around the bedroom and throw them into Thacher’s crib for his entertainment.
Now I had thought I had done a half decent job of “child proofing” my room, but I must have failed that one mommy task because when I walked into the bedroom I couldn’t believe my eyes! Tanner alone had somehow weaseled his way into my closet and managed to take a pile of clothes out. Maybe he thought he was helping me by scattering them all over the room, and then giving some to thatcher. He also found some old books that honestly I didn’t even know were in there, and thought it would be nice to take a pen (okay I have NO idea where that came from!) and scribble all over the book. I’m sure at the time he was very pleased with himself and fancied himself an artist! I on the other hand was not impressed.
Then the most annoying thing of all was when I tried to look stern it took every ounce of effort I could muster not to start laughing! They just looked so adorable and way too cute! I couldn’t be angry, even though I wanted to be.
The all time best though was when I walked in on them and Tanner looks at me and says “Uh Oh!” classic.
For once I remembered where my camera was so I decided to video tape them just to show off how cute they really are! Enjoy!

lol nope they are still doing the party thing every night! Tanner is the instigator all the way;)
great video…I can only imagine how you must have felt coming home to ALL the kids up.
I can almost hear the hidden smile in your voice…but I must say..using a different tone of voice might set them straight LOL

Julie you are way to kind! Thank you. Yes I have to say they are jut way too cute making it almost impossible to get mad at them lol. I think having so many children before them made mem a much softer person:)
i’m just omg’ing at the video (which is very cute!)…flashing back to when mine (only singles!) were young! my palms are all sweaty and i’m feeling so helpless just watching yours!!!! i’m going to turtle and start moaning in a minute 🙂
i just can’t even fathom this…with 6 other kids to boot! i can’t sing your praises enough nor tell you how great you are. i’m such a parent wimp with 2 kids and you are a goddess…or whatever is higher than a goddess…it is you!
