nowhere to sit-piss me off part 2

October 6, 2010 by Nancy

As I said in a previous post, I am a cheerful girl but can only take so much. My house resembles a set for The Road by Cormac McCarthy. It is under construction.Don’t come over for tea, a glass of wine or a cup of coffee because there is nowhere to sit.

Here are the choices

but wait there is this option and for more than one of you

I do not feel sorry for myself because there is always this one

let’s not forget in a pinch there is this one

but only as a last resort as my mom always said this can only lead to one thing.

I remember in our North Van renos, we had month (I think) where the only usable downstairs room was the living room, so that was where the stove, fridge, dinner table, etc, was! But in the end the reno was great…although I was around 7-ish so I might have a fonder memory than Mum does 😉
