My First Video Podcast

July 24, 2008 by Jen

This is a bit of an experiment and to be honest with you I’m a bit weirded out by it. Since when do I have a lisp like Kath? Since when is my hair fuzzy instead of curly? Since when are my lips totally non-existent? OK. I already knew that but now so does the world.

Anyway, the purpose of the Mom’s the Word video podcast is to a) try out some new technology b) put a face to urbanmoms.ca and c) to get you guys contributing. So please, be kind. And please, comment on the questions and topics from the video podcast. Below you will find the links to the sites I refer to.

So…here goes:

Also, here is The McDonald’s Mom’s Quality Correspondence site: www.mcdonaldsmom.ca
And here are my posts on the McDonald’s program.

Don’t forget to subscribe to the Mom’s The Word podcast in iTunes!

Way to go Jen! You are very brave…I will need to get tips from you on doing a podcast – they are so huge right now!! (even though, I typically never watch them and don’t particularly like them) lol

Hi Jen, that was great! I really enjoyed your podcast. Firstly, it was great to see your lovely face because it’s been way too long. Also, it was exciting to see a new form of communication and to hear all the great things that are on the go with urbanmoms. I look forward to the next podcast!

    Hi Jen
I like it! You are being too critical. It must be more difficult than blogging though!

Hi Jackie. No, I am NOT paid by McD’s. That could compromise the integrity of the message. I am there to report on the program and find out what moms are concerned about. We are truly Mom Media in this case!

Hi Jen. You don’t look weird at all! Very brave of you but I think you look great. Not that I know what you look like normally.
I am very curious about this Mcdonalds program. I want to know if they really let you see everything and ask every question. Are you getting paid?
