I’ve been big into navy, lately, and my love affair with dresses in unending. I began lusting over this gorgeous Kate Spade dress a few weeks ago, but couldn’t justify the $375 price tag:
As luck would have it, though, Forever 21 appeared to be carrying a very, very similar dress (sans stripes)…for under $30. You know, minor $347 difference. I bought it, and — while not exactly the same — it looks cute (and more expensive than it is), fits well, and certainly makes me happy:
For a slightly different look, I swapped out the matchy-matchy sash it came with for a thin camel belt:
This is a great dress for right now — it looks adorable paired with boots and a cute cardigan on top — and it will be fantastic by itself in the spring, too. The cut, length, and color make it amazingly versatile for the office, and other, more fun destinations. Hurry, get it while you can!

So cute! Forever 21 is WAY too short on me. At 5’11” I usually have to pay the $ to get the length.

You look beautiful – we don’t have Forever 21 here in Oz but we have something called Forever New, which is similar. I am still hanging out for Zara & H&M sigh. We finally got Gap after 14 years of living here but the stuff is, well, meh :(((. So I mostly shop at local boutiques and, yes, it is exxy but worth it. We have shops like PaperScissors, TNT & Target (yes!) for high-street fashion but basically most of the stuff is disposable after one season. And when in doubt – wear Metalicus! It always looks great – don’t know if you can get it in North America but it suits EVERYONE. http://www.metalicus.com.au
