Bathing suits were spotted at Costco tonite by my husband and he was kind enough to tell me. He is indeed a good husband and provider of information.
So can you believe it? Does it suprise you ? Does it baffle you?
It always shocks me. Always. Always. Always.
In July I will be posting with a title called “It’s Official…Snowsuits are in Stores”. Wait and see.
I use to own a small children’s consignment store and soon as the major retailers were switching their inventory I was doing the same. You kinda have to. But it always bothered me. How on earth was I going to sell summer clothes when it was -20 outside. But I did.
Customers loved seeing the new colors, the light fabrics and the return of shorts, skirts, dresses and welcome the change from brown, navy, grey and thicker fabrics.
I also know that if you don’t buy early on in the season, nothing is left.
So..who knows I might just pick up a bathing suit tomorrow. Ya never know.

The new Zune browser is surprisingly good, but not as good as the iPod’s. It works well, but isn’t as fast as Safari, and has a clunkier interface. If you occasionally plan on using the web browser that’s not an issue, but if you’re planning to browse the web alot from your PMP then the iPod’s larger screen and better browser may be important.

I used to use sugaring to eliminate my unsightly hair but it was so uncomfortable that I had to stop. I gave electrolysis a try and it worked so-so but was sort of expensive. So then I tried laser hair removers and was completely satisfied. I actually used the silk n sensepil and was really pleased with the final outcome. It gave me complete hair removal at an fantastic price. I certainly recommend it to anybody in place of waxing.

I often go to Bikini Village where I can find bathing suits and accessories year round when I need them. They seem to have a good selection and are not mixed in with bulk food, lol.

Those are gorgeous !! Now I think about it- the answer to your question about what I miss about Canadian shopping – by now it is COSCO and the random serendipity of finding cute bathing suits when buying oversized packs of cornflakes that we had nowhere to put in our crummy basement!! I think that’s why I stopped going after a while – spending too much money on things that you really did not plan to buy and more food than you need!! (that’s my 2 pennies for urban moms!)
V. cute blog which I have just seen for the first time!!
Enjoy your quiet home!!

i hear you. i love the flurry of pinks, yellows and turquoise when everything else around me is gray and dull. Also, I am travelling to India this January and eagerly looking for some new summer pieces to brighten my somewhat worn summer wardrobe. what i can’t seem to find anywhere and need desperately, are summer sandals? nowhere to be found, even in the outlets.

I should be used to it too, but it seems like the next season’s stuff comes out earlier every year. In a month from now when I will probably need to buy my son another pair of winter gloves, it will probably be hard to find with all the new spring/summer stock coming out already!
