Isagenix after the 9 Day Cleanse

February 11, 2008 by Jen

So, the results are in. At least in the short term. I REALLY enjoyed the Isagenix cleansing process and definitely feel that this is something I will incorporate into my life for the long term. Not only did I feel energized but I had a sense of clarity I don’t normally have. Food and poor food choices were not burdening me anymore! It is amazing how good you can feel when you are getting the right mix of nutrients and vitamins. Obviously, the cleanse is short term but the maintenance program is long term.

Also, if you are looking for a quick and easy way to eliminate bad habits or lose weight this is it. It was simple and I never felt starving. Plus, I had the support of wonderful Steve Bentley who is an expert on health and fitness being a performance coach. If you are interested in this system for weight loss, improved overall health, or increased energy and performance in your sport please contact Steve. He would be happy to consult with you and see what is the best solution for you (performancecoaching@sympatico.ca).

Now, the results. As I said from the get go weight loss was not my objective. However, it was a bonus! Not only did I feel more energized and positive during some pretty gloomy weather but I lost weight and inches. Check it out:

Weight lost – 8 pounds
Inches lost – 16.5 (!!)
Other benefits – clarity, energy, feeling positive

This is me before (I can’t believe I am posting a picture of me in a bathing suit!):

This is me after (ignore the fact that I am not on a beach and not remotely tanned):

The bulk of my inches lost were ribs, waist, hips and thighs. I carry most of my extra weight in my belly so I was thrilled about that! Remember folks, this was just 9 days. I will be doing shake days for the rest of the month and may throw in another cleanse day or 2 if I feel I need it.

But, I will treat myself on occassion. Just like I did first thing Saturday morning as we headed up north. Now here’s one happy woman! (OMG…what is with my hair?!)

Jen – you look awesome! Congrats for sticking with it. And I’m so glad you felt ALL the benefits of the cleanse. Way to go.

It sounds like this was a great learning experience for you. Unfortunately we as a society have forgotten to really listen to our bodies (or never really knew how to in the first place) on what hungry & full is. I think we just know stuffed or famished. It sounds like this cleanse helped you re-educate yourself on those principles (well done, because it is not an easy thing to do).
Good luck with the rest of the 30-day program & please let us know how you are doing when the month is done.
Btw, you look great in the after pic (but frankly you looked pretty great in the before pic too)!!

Questions – how much does the system cost? can you only get it through Steve? Is this sold in health food stores?
Both you & Kath do look great! I can see the difference in both.

You look great Jen. But more importantly, I am glad that you feel good. I thought you were doing the 30 day cleanse. I am glad you were able to get your latte back into your life!

Wow Jen, you look amazing! I can tell the difference between the two pictures, but I agree with Ali that you look great in the before picture, too.
