So, what’s the big deal? The big deal is that not only does my son no longer wear kid’s shoes but we no longer pay kid’s shoe prices either. Plus, I used to be able to get away with cheaper shoes but since my son developed Achilles Tendinitis caused in part by worn out shoes we are forced to invest in higher quality runners. This pair? On sale for $79.99! That’s one thing for a real adult whose feet have stopped growing but this kid goes through shoes every few months. I cringe just thinking about it. I guess we’ll save on physio-therapy bills anyway…hopefully.
Not only is my baby growing up, which I’m finding out comes with its own heart-wrenching moments, but he’s costing me a fortune!
