Last week many new and returning students came through my art studio. One new little one caught my eye because she was wearing a fabulous dress. So fabulous I had to take a picture of it
Why did I love it so much?
Well, I have one just like it
Ummm. She is 3 and a half.
I use a fair bit of restraint assisted by budget and the hate of / lack of time for shopping. But I have a weakness for dresses. Dresses are a source of fantasy for me in life drenched in too much reality at times. I find them hard to resist. Not wanting to act/ dress my age finds me with the same dress as a preschooler.
She and I agree. Life is better in a dress.
and besides, you are only 48 once.
oh you know I wear them for no good reason.
You and I have to go out soon in our tutus
Dude. Put on your dress and just walk around… see? Normal.
PS – I think it’s adorable that you have the same dress as a little girl… she has excellent taste!!
