I got a text from my cousin last week:
“So I’m thinking…want to get together for shopping and dinner this weekend? Just us?”
Which kinda freaked me out because I was going to text her suggesting the same thing.

It was a perfect Saturday spent meandering around the mall trying on clothes and chatting.
I bought a pair of Lulu’s I had been eyeing for several months.
Stocked up on my Bath & Body Works.
Picked a few things for the kids.
Then we had a delicious, relaxing dinner.
Then we decided to shut the place down and go back for round 2 of shopping.

Girl time. It was exactly what I needed.
We’ve been eyeball deep in rep hockey tryouts for next year and with Sean as head coach, he’s been pretty preoccupied.
I was able to perk myself up with some pretty things, a few essentials and some fun stuff for the kids.

Once home, I unpacked my bags to show Sean all my purchases when I pulled out a little something that I had totally forgot I bought.
Ahhh. A delicious, decadent late night nibble.
Anytime I go to Square One or Vaughan Mills I make sure to get myself a little bag of these assorted truffles.
Because in case you didn’t know it – I love chocolate.

I’m glad you had fun. I know budget was in your blogs also. I usually over buy when I need some retail therapy, that way, I can have another trip to the mall. I return a few things and it means another trip to Purdy’s for being such a good girl :).
