Forgive the kitschy title but I wanted to start a (hopefully) weekly column in which I share with you some of my favorite products. Usually they will serve some sort of organizational function, because let’s face it, those are my favorite things. Sometimes they will be items that I have, sometimes they will be items that I covet.

Milk Crate Baskets!
These baskets were totally bought on a whim one day at Target and have since become one of the most useful objects in my house. They are the perfect size to hold an assortment of toys that can be carried around from room to room in my house.
I love that they are sturdy enough to really serve a purpose but they are stylish enough to mix with my overall home decor. Trust me on the sturdy, they’ve survived the wrath of a toddler.
I have a smaller basket that I keep as a sort of mobile office. I keep my most current magazines, and a couple of plastic folders that contain immediate to-do items and bills to be paid.
yeah I know the picture is sideways and no I don’t know why
I also use these baskets to store towels in my bathrooms and hats and mittens in our coat closet. I purchased all of mine at Target but I’ve seen them in other places such as Hobby Lobby and Pier One.

I LOVE Baskets too.
In fact, I am a basket case.

I love baskets like this for toys, too, because kids of any age can help with clean up when it’s just “throw everything into the basket”. I think it’s a great way to empower them and get them involved in tidying. Then I can hide the whole basket somewhere!!

OBSESSED with baskets. I have them everywhere: playroom, bathrooms, family room, bedroom, even in the freezer. I buy small plastic ones at the dollar store for items under the sinks and nice wicker/fabric ones for the visible parts of the house.
I am partial to any banana leaf baskets. LOVE the look of them. 🙂

I use baskets everywhere- under the bathroom sinks, in my living room (magazines), in my office (mail, writing paper, etc) – they are SO versatile.
