Lucian Matis understands what works on women. His designs caress a woman’s body in the most flattering ways. When you’re wearing his designs there is just something that makes you feel absolutely sensual and confident. The lines are feminine and he is impeccable in his detailing.
Lucian had two collections that were shown on the runways at Toronto World MasterCard Fashion Week.
MATIS Spring Summer 2013 collection appears as though it was created for the woman who knows how to have fun while maintaining her sophistication. Included in the collection were stunning images of tropical floral and hummingbirds, abstract prints, and European influenced prints in flowing dresses, tops and wrap style dresses. His go-to working woman driven pieces continues with a hint of edge – always a treat for the eyes!
The LUCIAN MATIS couture collection showed more structure with refined patterns. Included in the SS13 show were themes of elegant mosaic tiles, beautiful crocodile embossed bold leathers, elegant sheers and statement patterns that had the audience fall in love with him all over again.
Both Lucian Matis collections have graced the fashion pages and covers of national and international fashion publications. Not only are his designs beautiful but Lucian as a person is a magnet – his hard working and very humble attitude has made him the darling of the Canadian fashion scene.
