Last week, I went to the Interior Design Show in Toronto. I was so excited as I had never been before. You see, I knew I would like the show what I didn’t know was that infact I woud LOVE the show.
I walked thru the aisles for over two hours with this dreamy look on my face. I’m kinda suprised someone didn’t stop me to ask me if I was ok!!
I was dreaming about the beautiful fridges, and the kitchen sinks the size of bathtubs, and the fireplaces. Don’t even get me stared about the fireplaces. One fireplace was nicer than another fireplace. I was dreaming about the light fixtures and the latest tiles. I was dreaming and dreaming and dreaming (or was it the wine…nope coz I didn’t drink that nite).
While looking at one furniture display, I said to myself…”now that’s the perfect piece of furniture for small children”. You would never have to worry about spills, about your kids building forts with the pillows or anyone EVER ruining it. You see, it was made of plastic. But it was grown up plastic. Do you know what I mean? It was sophisticated not to mention the perfect size.
I really do admire the people in this industry. They are artists and I’m truly envious of their talent and creativity.
Guess who will be going to the show next year? ME. No doubt about it. Hope to see you there too!!
