Wow. It seems a lot has happened in Hollywoodland this week. Gary Coleman died (and, yes, I think it’s way too soon to start making Whatchu Talkin’ About jokes), Dennia Hopper died, Lindsay Lohan continues to be ridiculous, Celine Dion is having twins…
…but, seriously, by far, the most shocking news to me is NOT that Naveen Andrews is now single, but that he was DATING BARBARA HERSHEY OMG HOW DID I NOT KNOW THIS? Now, Naveen’s character of Sayid was never my favorite…until he redeemed himself at the very end, but, I gotta say, when Naveen started doing the LOST press circuit recently and I found out that dude has a BRITISH accent, I was instantly hooked. And, the truth is, I have been emotionally invested in all of these LOST characters for the last 6 years…how did I not know about him and Barbara Hershey?
I mean, BARBARA HERSHEY. Like, Hannah and her Sisters Barbara Hershey. Have I lived under a rock???
And apparently, their relationship – large age difference aside – had LOTS of drama, including a baby, Naveen Joshua, who was born to NOT Barbara Hershey in 2006, and Hershey and Andrews fighting for sole custody of little Naveen Joshua because, apparently, his mother, Elena Eustache was totally CRAAAAZY and during the trials accused Barbara Hershey (THE Barabara Hershey…like Beaches Barbara Hershey) of WITCHCRAFT and accused Naveen of trying to poison his son. Full custody was granted to Andrews and Hershey.
Of course. It’s Barbara Hershey.
But, well, now they are no longer together.
And even though I never knew that they were a couple.
I am really sad to hear that they’ve broken up.
see…I don’t get the creep factor…probably because I never knew about them! ha!
I LOVE Naveen Andrews. His accent? *Swoon*.
I knew they were together but I always found it a bit creepy.
