Third World

July 27, 2013 by Amanda 2 Comments

My two older girls are off on an adventure with my husband’s mom, so for the past few days we have been hurled back in time, to a day when we just had one kid.

How did I ever think this was HARD?

We have been playing at the beach, getting stuff done around the house, and it’s 9:30 am on a Saturday and Brinley is still fast asleep without her wild sisters’ shrieks acting as her alarm clock.

Oh, perspective.

Of course I miss my big girls, but this little pocket of time with just Brin is pretty sweet.

It’s so true how even taking one kid out of the mix can change the dynamic so drastically!

It’s so nice to just have one-on-one time with your kids though, isn’t it?
