Montreal designer Melissa Nepton featured her ready to wear Spring/Summer 2014 collection at the World Mastercard Fashion Week runway in Toronto last week to a full house. This designer is known for her modern touch combined with a confident personality.

In her  Spring Summer 2014 show,  models appeared floating effortlessly down the runway as the fluid lines in her collection gave the sense of femininity with ease. Colours were toned down to softer shades of blue and often shown along side with elegant whites and blacks.  Trends of this past summer of short skirts under long sheers are now translated into  more refined looks. Splashes of patterns bursted over black backdrops were definite favourites. Quilted looks added a fun touch to a more casual offering.
