When I was deliberating about getting bangs cut or not, I figured it was a pretty low-risk change as far as hair goes. “Try bangs for a while, then when you’re sick of them, just sweep them to the side of your face, all cute-like, and you’re good to go!”

After about three months of having bangs, I felt ready to start growing them out again.

However. I did not foresee THIS, is what I’m saying.

I alternate between the Sister Wife swoop back, or blazing through my day looking like a gymnast with clips and bobby pins to tame the flyways.

Not cool, bangs. Not cool.

Live and learn.

To add on to Jen Wilson’s advice, spritz a little hairspray on the bobby pin.

Do a little French braid in the front! Worked wonders for me.

Hairspray goes a long way, I have found. Sweep them to the side, spray them, and put a bobby pin in. They stay in place and don’t drive you insane. (This from someone who is also growing out her bangs.)(Which sucks because I have a massive forehead BUT WHATEVER.)
