The world is once again freaking out about Kim Kardashian and while I usually ignore this sort of “news” (because as a journalist, I can’t really call it news), this time, the world has gone too far.
Fans and tabloids are claiming that Kim is faking her pregnancy, because of two pictures taken this past Monday. Yeah, that’s right. People have sunk that low.
Both have Kim in a form fitting white dress, but the notable difference in the size of her baby bump has everyone up in arms about something that isn’t their business.

Now here’s the thing. Photos aren’t real life. Yeah there’s a difference between the bumps, but angles and lighting and filters can make a huge change on a person’s shape. Obviously if Kim is taking a photo straight on, like the one she posted to Instagram, she’s going to look bigger compared to the photos taken by paparazzi earlier in the day. Tons of people have debunked those before and after shots of people losing weight, proving that slight angle and filter change make a world of difference.
And maybe it isn’t the angle of the photo. But maybe Kim had a big dinner. Maybe she’s bloated. Hell, even I have a food baby at the end of the day and my diet this week has consisted mostly of gummy bears and ice cream. And even if Kim isn’t gaining the same amount of weight as when she had her daughter North, doesn’t mean she’s faking. No two pregnancies are the same, and lots of people still work out during their pregnancy.
Kim has already addressed rumours of her faking her pregnancy via Twitter, but of course, who’s going to listen to her?
I’m at the stage now where I wake up with a flat belly but then as I eat and by the end of the day it pops out! This means it’s about to pop

Point is, Kim’s pregnancy is Kim’s pregnancy. Becoming a mother is a beautiful thing and she wants to share her happy journey with the world. Don’t crap on that. If you’re really that desperate for some fake pregnancy drama, go watch the first season of Glee.
