In a new interview with Entertainment Tonight, former professional football player, David Beckham, spoke about his future plans as a parent when the time comes that his children will be old enough to date. Beckham’s eldest, Brooklyn is sixteen-years-old and already has girls and dating on his mind.
“We’re strong parents, and strict parents, but we’re like most parents,” he explained. “We love our kids and we want the best for them, so we’ll see.”
However, when it came to Beckham’s four-year-old daughter, Harper—the only girl and the youngest in the family—the story seemed to be a bit different. Having three previous boys with Victoria Beckham, he said his rules will “definitely” be different for her.
“Oh yeah,” he exclaimed, “that’ll definitely be different.”
Yikes! If Beckham already considers himself a strict parent, we can only imagine what poor little Harper is going to have to go through. What do you think about the Beckham’s being stricter on their little girl? Do you think it’s right to be stricter, or put a larger emphasis on dating for girls rather than boys?
