Well, my suspicions have been confirmed: Carrie Underwood is pretty much a super hero.
While running errands around town, her two dogs managed to lock the car doors… with her 4-month-old son Isaiah still inside.
It is summer and it’s hot out, so Underwood understandably freaked out. So what’s an intensely fierce mama bear supposed to do?
Break the car window of course.
“When your dogs manage to lock themselves, all your stuff & your baby in the car & you have to break a window to get in,” the American Idol alum tweeted Saturday morning. “#WhatAreTheChances.”
What are the chances? What a strange and scary scenario to find yourself in.
Everyone is doing fine, though, the country singer explained in a further tweet. And sadly it wasn’t Underwood taking a stiletto to the window as I had pictured so many times since reading that first tweet.
“I should clarify. My bro-in-law was actually the window breaker in the ‘dog-locked-the-car-door incident today! But all is good now!” Underwood tweeted later on Saturday. “Minus the broken window, of course!”
Well, RIP window, but we’re glad that this story had such a happy ending. I guess this is yet another reason why Carrie Underwood is the celebrity mom other moms would ask to babysit for them!
