FASHIONISTAS GRAB YOUR HEELS AND RUN to meet one of my favourite Canadian Designers, Lucian Matis!
Torontonians can get up and personal with Lucian at public appearances scheduled in the next couple of days. He’s in town promoting his new collaboration with Smashbox cosmetics.
Lucian grew up in Romania and began working in his mother’s tailor shop at an early age. He moved to Canada in 1999 and continued his education in the Fashion Design program at Ryerson University. Lucian was quickly noticed by industry experts. His first professional collection was presented during Fashion Week in Fall of 2007.
Lucian has been profiled on many fashion and entertainment shows including Project Runway Canada where he gained a solid fan base. His beautiful designs have been seen in national and international magazines including Women’s Wear Daily, Elle Canada, Flare, National Post and others.

The Smashbox make up experts will re-create the Spring 2012 BLOOM beauty looks. A minimum purchase of $50 in Smashbox products will give you the opportunity to have a professional photo with Lucian Matis (and a model donning one of his designs).
