Whew, we can all rest easy now! A mere four months after her ex Brad Pitt announced his engagement to Angelina Jolie, Jennifer Aniston (43) has announced she’s also ready to walk down the aisle again.
People Magazine first broke the story on Sunday that Aniston’s boyfriend of over a year, Justin Theroux (41) proposed to Aniston during his birthday celebration.
“Justin Theroux had an amazing birthday on Friday, receiving an extraordinary gift when his girlfriend, Jennifer Aniston, accepted his proposal of marriage,” said Theroux’s rep in a statement to People.
Ever since Pitt and Aniston divorced in 2005, “Team Aniston” fans have been anticipating when Jen will find love again. Over the years, she’s been romantically linked with John Mayer and Vince Vaughn but those relationships didn’t last.
Aniston met Theroux on the set of “Wanderlust“. The film did poorly at the box office, but the couple clicked off the set. This will be Theroux’s first marriage.
The couple have not set a wedding date yet, but I can’t help but wonder…whose wedding will happen first?
Hopefully she will feel happy and complete now. I wish them all the best of luck and happiness in this world of ours.
While I never picked a “team” myself, I’m happy for her too. She took her time and found the right guy eventually. Way to go!
