Dear Axe,
I’m not sure how my son discovered you..probably a commercial on TV, but he has been using AXE since he was 9. I think. All I know, is he is 14 years old now and it feels like he has been loyal to your brand FOREVER. (I hope you are smiling).
He is off to overnite camp, so we spent a bit (a lot) of time at WalMart recentely buying toiletries. Lucky me!!
This means…axe body wash, axe shampoo, and axe deodorant. If you came out with axe toothpaste, I’m sure he would buy it.
There he was, standing infront of the display, SNIFFING the different scents. How on earth did this happen? You would think he was making the most important decision of his life.
The good news is…he takes regular showers. So I’m grateful to you for that.
Keep up the good work AXE. You have done an awesome job.
P.S. When are you coming out with a girls’ line of products.?

Christine, grade 4-5 is about right. My grade 4 girl needs deodorant sometimes (like now the weather’s warmer) but not others (like all winter long).
As for Axe: let’s hope that if they do come out with a girls’ line they rethink their advertising campaign. IMHO we could use a lot more Dove and a lot less Axe…

My son LOVES Axe too. Every time it is on sale we buy another scent. He has the deodorant and body wash. His latest purchase? The chocolate scent…interesting. Anyway, you’re right. The good news is he’s showering. And he does smell kinda nice too. I just really hope the whole sexual advertising stuff is a bit over his head still. Wishful thinking?

My son’s grade five teacher told all the kids that they had to start using deodorant once Spring (with its warm temperatures hit). Something tells me that was a little late for some of them…

My nine year old keeps asking for it. I buy him Adidas sport hair and body wash.
He gets a pretty smelly head from his hockey, baseball and roller hockey helmets. I also love how PertPlus smells! So clean!
My 13yr old nephew uses Axe and I think he’s turned me off of it. He has so much of it. It’s exactly what Brut was for the young teenage boys when I was younger. Brut or Drakkar Noir…
Anyways – I told my son that when it was time to wear deodorant he could get some Axe. I think that’ll be next year, Grade 4. Does that sounds about right?
