oh it is on!
Perez Hilton was NOT happy…and Miss California Carrie Prejean refused to be politically correct….and then Perez doesn’t apologize for using the B-word…and the Miss California prays for Perez Hilton…and huzzah! she has lots of facebook requests, so, um, awesome?
thoughts? opinions?
I usually don’t give my opinions when i ask you to decide…but i just really wanted to tell you that I support gay marriage. 100%. and so, whatever, while i do think it’s a free country and everyone is entitled to his or her own opinions, and it is, indeed, Carrie Prejean’s RIGHT to oppose gay marriage and support opposite marriage (huh?), i don’t think she answered this question properly. I actually don’t even think that she answered the actual question that was asked. that being said, I think Perez Hilton went just a wee bit too far. i mean, dude called her the c-word and that is NEVER okay with me.
Julie says
she is totally entitled to her opinion. not everyone is going to be for same sex marriage (just for the record i’m in an “opposite” marriage). i’ll give her kudos for standing up for what she believes in considering who was asking the question and knowing the backlash she would probably receive. if she said “i love gay marriage” then she would be a liar and that is far worse.
however, her comment “we live in a land that you can choose same sex marriage” is sooooo false. you cannot choose it in most of the states!
i think she lost because she is a dimwit.
Maria says
there is nothing worse that the C-word!!! as much as I also support gay marriage, freedom of speech is just as important, so that’s all about that
Teena in Toronto says
I too support same-sex marriages.
But she was asked what she thought about it and she answered. Just because we don’t agree doesn’t mean she’s wrong.
