News broke yesterday that *GASP* Jennifer Aniston and Courtney Cox are taking a break from each other. You read me right. This was headline grabbing news.
I told you in my intro that I’m Team Angelina. This doesn’t mean I don’t like Jen. I do – just not for Brad (and I think Angie got raked against the coals). I’ll tell you what I loathe is how they keep writing about how heart broken Jen is about Brad. Get OVER it – I bet she has. And now they’re going to harrass her about a bust-up with her bestie? WTF. (granted…it’s been the slowest week ever in LaLa Land).
I don’t buy it for a minute. Maybe Courtney is working on her marriage and Jen is mourning the loss of her beloved dog, Norman. Who knows but regardless, I feel bad for Jen that they have to bring this crap up.
And she and her posse of chicks are ranked #1 in my group of Hollywood BFFs I want to hang with.
#1 – Jen, Courtney, Sheryl Crow, Laura Dern, Kathy Najimy – I love these girls. They take off to Mexico all the time together. You know they trash Billy Bob, John Mayer, Brad and Lance. You know Kathy is drinking a margarita and laughing at them all as they do yoga. Love.
#2 – Oprah and Gayle. I spend a great deal of time contemplating how I can find my Oprah. Or which one of my friends could be Oprah. You know the one who has a massive hit show and takes me along for the ride.
#3 – Cam and Drew. I’d love to hang with them because I wouldn’t always be the drunkest.
#4 – Leo DiCaprio, Lukas Haas, Kevin Connelly and Tobey Maguire. We’d play basketball. I’d be skins.
#5 – Eva Longoria and Posh. Admit it, you say you don’t like Posh but you find her both fascinating and hilarious. I know I do. Eva? She’d be gonzo once I nudged her out. She could go back to Jessica Simpson’s cast-off (and professional celeb BFF Ken Paves).
Who are your favourite celeb buddies and why?
Obviously Jennifer Garner, b/c her husband and my boyfriend are besties, so it all makes perfect sense. And she seems like a normal person, which helps.
