There are plenty of things about the internet I loathe but the love I have for this…place/thing?…outweighs it by far and one of my obsessions is YouTube. Granted, there is a lot of crap on YouTube but SO many gems that we would otherwise never see. Check out a few of my most recent faves:
This spoof of Hey There Delilah called Hey Harry Potter made me laugh because it was so right on!
Because I am a reality show freak and LOVED this performance on American Idol! (Maybe I’m as pathetic as the guy in Hey Harry Potter :P)
Because I’m a sap and I NEVER tire of the Free Hugs Campaign. Tears. Every. Time.
You know I have a reality show addiction, right? Well, I watched Oprah’s new show Oprah’s Big Give the other day and now I have to PVR it! It is The Apprentice with style and purpose. More tears too. Anyone else tune in?

Here are a few movies every year that defy this rule, often constrained-release films that start in just one or two theaters and in actual fact develop their theater count through beneficial word-of-mouth and opinions.

that harry potter video is too much – loved it! i’m loving american idol this season, and watched that imagine performance in tears like 10 times on pvr – so beautiful. my other favourite performances (thank god for you tube b/c there is so much idol!) are Brooke doing “you’re so vain” and david cooke’s rocker version of “hello”.

Oh I LOOOOVE the Hey Harry Potter one! Too true, too true. LOL. And Imagine is one of my all-time fave songs, although I have to admit I prefer John Lennon’s version over this souled-up rendition.
