brilliant:
(seriously. i’m not kidding. there’s not enough love for the dude who invented the umbrella.)
not so brilliant:
i don’t own an umbrella.
i’m wet. i hate being wet. i suppose it could be worse. it’s supposed to snow tonight. real, actual snow. boo. i hate snow.
actually, that’s not true. i like snow.
i like to sit in my living room and watch giant snowflakes fall while i sit and drink pumpkin spice lattes.
i like to ski on snow.
(yes, that IS me, skiing in Mont Tremblant in my outfit that i bought in size 14 kids. HOT)
i like the rare occasion that it snows in Atlanta. so my stepmom can experience a white christmas.
(but usually we only get the artificial winter wonderland….)
i don’t like DRIVING in snow. especially in my non-wintertired, non-automatic Honda Civic. I don’t like other cars driving near me in the snow. They scare me.
i don’t dressing for snow. the hats. the gloves. the scarves. the boots.
i don’t like the slush. and the dirty, black snow.
oy. i think it’s going to be a LONG winter.
i guess being wet isn’t all that bad….

The only down side of snow this early in the season is that it takes so freakin’ long to get ready with all of the freakin’ clothes. Can you tell I was late today after the snow?!

I love snow and everything that comes with it. I intensely dislike bitter cold that is not accompanied by pretty snow to avert my attention.

I couldn’t agree more about the snow. It doesn’t snow here in Texas but it did snow A LOT in Virginia. I hate being cold. The only way I can make it through a snow day is to be inside under a warm blanket drinking some hot chocolate, but I would prefer a pumpkin spice latte or even better a gingerbread latte.:)
SciFi Dad says
personally, I’m more afraid of the yellow snow myself.
