Spring is in the air, and it’s time to put away our winter sweaters, pull out our patio furniture and change our seasonal scents. It may be that you hadn’t considered the need to update your fragrance wardrobe with the changing seasons, but chances are your perfumes, shower gels and body lotions are more comforting and heavier in the winter than the longer, warmer days warrant.
Spring scents are fresh and natural. After spending all winter cooped up, we’re anxious for the smell of just cut grass, flowers brought in from the garden and all things fruity.
Just in time for this aromatic shift, C.O. Bigelow is introducing its new Lemon Eau de Parfum and lemon blend collection. It’s inspired by its best-selling Lemon Body Cream Original Formulary (an apothecary favourite since 1870), and hits Bath & Body Works stores this month.Lemon and Lime Body Souffle has the consistency of key lime pie filling and smells just as good. It promises to hydrate, rejuvenate and restore skin to a healthier-looking appearance. I spread it on after showers and it left me feeling moisturized without feeling greasy. The scent’s just sweet enough without being cloying. My lips have been treated to the line’s Lemon and Pomegranate Lip Cream. The pomegranate’s supposed to be full of rich antioxidants and the lemon flavour’s a nice change from the traditional minty lip balms. This products makes a great clear lip gloss, or works nicely over liptsticks, too. These treats have 100% natural flavours and are not tested on animals. So this season, when life gives you lemons, enjoy!

I think a lemon fragrance is one of the most refreshing and lovely scents going. I think I need to seek out a lemon aromatherapy oil. Breathing in deeply, ahhh.
