What’s a Launch Like?

Part of my job is going to launches, for products, shows, events and for my very talented friends who keep writing books. 

I get asked a lot what it’s like to be at these events.  Is it as crazy as Ab Fab?  Is it fun? Is it boring?  Is there free food?

So I thought the easiest way to answerr that would be to photograph my way through an event.  Last night was the launch of Dabble magazine and I was there for both the private media launch and the open event.  Here’s what it looked like:

    I’m simply overwhelmed. All of your photos are simply amazing. (And I’m not just saying that because I was in a few of them). My name is Andrew Metrick. I don’t think we got a chance to meet during the Dabble event but Kimberley kindly introduced me to the crowd and who I am in relation to Elte. As she pointed out, Elte was started by my great grandfather so the connection I feel to the photos you took is truly something special. Anyway, thank you so much for coming and for capturing the beauty of the night. I do hope to see you at Elte or Ginger’s soon.
