I’d like to take this opportunity to thank the Academy….the fans….the Lord….my mother…
No WAIT! This isn’t my Oscar acceptance speech! It’s my intro at The Celebrity Dish! I am psyched to carry the torch, passed by Ali, to keep all you UrbanMoms and Dads up on the gossip. She’s a tough act to follow but I like a challenge!
My qualifications you ask?
a. I took the day off to watch the Royal Wedding.
b. I’ll be wearing black for a month after Oprah’s last show.
c. My friends and I have a contest on who can ‘poke’ the most famous person….Denzel is the current winner – and that’s old. Give me some drinks and I’ll tell you mine…
d. I can’t remember a damn thing I learned at University, but I could tell you who shot JR; who was the first American Idol and which Bachelor couples are still together.
e. I have a weird sense that one day Sandy Bullock (cause in my head we’re friends so it’s Sandy) and Rachel MacAdams and I will vacation in Cabo together and NOT do yoga on the beach.
Will that suffice for now?
