I cannot imagine fighting off the paparazzi while buckling my baby into a carseat. It’s hard enough without cameras flashing! Poor Violet! I actually started feeling sorry for her, but, then I remembered that she does have her mama with her (unlike other celebrity babies…SPF!) AND she does have two of the hottest celebs for parents! After realizing that, I felt better and not sorry.

It just occurred to me: wouldn’t it be a great intellectual exercise to actually see all these movies — including the foreign-language ones? Hmmm….I’ll think about that. I could write a wee review here and everything. What do you think? No matter what, WE ARE HAVING SUCH AN OSCAR PARTY HERE AT CHEATY’S — ‘SGONNA BE AWWWWESOME!
ISAIAH WASHINGTON UPDATE
With rumours spinning about his termination from Grey’s Anatomy, Isaiah Washington is taking major steps to remedy the mess he’s created for himself. On Monday, he met with gay and lesbian organization leaders and effectively "acknowledged
the harm he caused" (leaders said). He also committed to becoming actively involved in the gay community’s effort to teach how words have power and cause harm, in the hopes of demonstrating that his actions speak louder than his verbal apology (which, perfect as it was, was likely dictated to him by publicists…). This just in: he has fired his publicist and hired two new publicists who are experts in media crises. Oh, he needs experts. It doesn’t get more "crisis" than this…! I’ll keep you posted….
I also hear from various sources that, if he is fired, it’s going to be abrupt, with only a full-screen announcement at the beginning of the first show sans Burke….
Most of you thought that Isaiah should NOT be fired. You’re in the minority, according to the poll taken by CNN’s Showbiz Tonight. 51% of their viewers thought Isaiah should be fired.

I could absolutely care less about this story, but all the intergossips are talking about it. So, check it. Apparently, Courteney Cox’s show, Dirt, has received painfully low ratings. So, they’re bringing in Aniston for an onscreen liplock with Cox. Ooo-OOO-ooo! I can’t wait! Yeah right. Whateves. Aniston’s going to play a lesbian character, and they’re apparently replicating the whole Jen and Brangelina scandal while Jen’s onboard. Sigh…. So bad.
JESSICA SIMPSON AND JOHN MAYER MAKING IT PUBLIC
Yup, they’re on! And, they’re going public. They’ve been spotted at the ever-popular Nobu recently. And, here they are, above, leaving their hotel to board his tour bus. He is HUMUNGOUS next to her. His head is twice the size of hers. Just a wee observation.

hi haley,i love foreign movies.the last movie i saw at an actual theatre was oh,lord of the rings 2 with my teens.last movie we rented on vod was X-men 3.last rented movie i watched was wicker man.my neighbour lent it to me.last foreign movie i watched was a spanish movie…

GAB — It was, indeed, wonderbread!!! 🙂 And, being swarmed by paparazzi wherever you go — I’ve learned from gossiping for a while now — is part of the price you pay for being famous. A big price. But, I think, that’s why you get paid the big bucks….
DREA — And, your hair’s the same style as Eva’s. If I ran my hands through my hair like that all the time, it’d get all straight and flat….
wow i cant imagine all those ppl photographing me… annoying!! I run my hands through my hair exactly like eva. I think its more of a nervous habit though… more than anything 🙂
If I was jennifer garner, I don’t know if I’d be more pissed off at all the attention of me putting my daughter in the carsear or would I just be friendly and polite. It must be horrifying to have your every move scrutinzed like that but I guess that’s what happens when you’re famous. And was that Wonderbread that Eva was buying???

i am so thrilled for Ryan Gosling. Half Nelson was a terrific movie and he was amazing in it. love him.
Back in the old, old (old) days before parenting my wife and I actually saw 4/5 Best Picture nominees for a couple years… but admittedly we saw them spread out throughout the summer (along with a pile of nonsensical tripe that my wife chose).
