urbanmoms.ca Tested and Approved – So Good

As moms, we’re always looking for great-tasting yet healthy choices for our families, and this is no less true for our beverage choices. There is a seemingly endless selection of sugary drinks on supermarket shelves and coolers, but for moms who are looking for beverages that deliver more complete nutrition – the options are somewhat limited.

That’s why we at urbanmoms.ca were so excited to offer a group of our Go2Girlz the opportunity to taste-test two new offerings from So Good Soy Beverages: So Good Trim, a fat-free low calorie soy beverage, and So Good Decadent Chocolate, high in protein yet trans-fat and cholesterol free.

For some of our Go2Girlz, soy beverages were a new addition to the family refrigerator, while others were dyed-in-the-wool soy converts. So, what did this diverse group of testers think of So Good Trim and So Good Decadent Chocolate? The answer was pretty clear – they earned the urbanmoms.ca seal of approval!

Overall, the Go2Girlz were most impressed by the smooth and silky texture and mild taste of both products. Now, don’t presume that mild taste means low flavour, because the response was very clear on that score…particularly the So Good Decadent Chocolate was bursting with flavour, but the Go2Girlz were impressed that neither product had a strong soy aftertaste. And the sleek, modern packaging got two thumbs up from the Go2Girlz as well!

Our panel of testers saw So Good Trim as a great alternative to cow’s milk, on cereal, in coffee and in milkshakes or smoothies. The Go2Girlz loved that it’s low in calories and fat, high in protein & calcium and tastes great to boot. The majority of our testers agreed that they would buy So Good Trim again, and every one of them would recommend it to a friend.

The Go2Girlz and their families were equally impressed with So Good Decadent Chocolate. Lots of mouths were watering just at the thought of trying this beverage, and taste tests proved the name was accurate. Our testers loved the rich, chocolaty taste, and were very pleased at the smooth texture; preferring it to the thicker texture of chocolate cow’s milk.
