I bought a few items online from Gap and Old Navy several weeks back… it’s finally warm enough for Madame to wear the dresses outside, as opposed to slipping one on over her pajamas and begging me to wear them during the chillier 12 degree days of May we’d been experiencing. It’s finally balmy all the time now. Free the frocks!!
I can almost never say no to a stripe (but you knew that already, right?) and this one has great pinky-plum shades that are just right for this child’s complexion. I think she can twirl around in this one for as long as it fits her – even over jeans in the fall. That’s a great look for kids especially, and it lengthens the wear on an otherwise out-of-season favourite.
And anyway, given the rate at which children tend to outgrow clothes, longevity will always get my vote!
