This child is waaaaaaaay girlier than I am, but I suppose I’m partly to blame – it seems I can’t resist a tutu. Especially when they’re on sale, and practically free – the stretchy waistband deems them wear-worthy for YEARS, and adorable over leggings when the weather turns cooler. And since they’re machine washable and semi-indestructible, I’m happy to let the child wear them to camp if she so chooses. (As she did today.)
Really… aren’t they just the most splendid of things? Plus, they’re excellent for twirling, which as you know, means everything then you’re three. Or thirty-three. (Or whatever.)
Ava Scarlett wears:
purple tank top with silver stars – Gap, about $12 (last year)
plum tutu – Gap, about $14
