This is the perfect recipe for non-bakers. Jen from Trend Watch calls these recipes semi-homemade.
I absolutely love this recipe because it combines my two loves, skor chocolate and brownies. Biting into this dessert is pure heaven, you must give it a try.
1-2 boxes of brownie mix (prepared according to directions)
1 box of Dr. Oetker Shirriff chocolate mousse (prepared according to the directions)
1 container of cool whip
5 Skor chocolate bars (crushed into relatively large chunks)
Bake the brownies according to the directions on the box (or use your favourite recipe) and let cool.
Prepare the mouse according to the directions.
To assemble use a trifle bowl or your favourite glass serving piece. Depending on the size of your bowl you will need to use either 1 or 2 boxes of brownies. Cut brownies into pieces and line the bottom of the bowl. Cover the brownies with half of the mouse, and then cover this layer with half of the cool whip. Next, sprinkle half of the broken Skor pieces. Then repeat all layers.
Refrigerate 8 hours before serving. Also great served frozen. Simply take out of the freezer 1 hour before serving.
