So what will the most fashionable kids be wearing this Spring? I was recently invited to a sneak peak of Stella McCartney for GapKids and babyGap Spring Summer collection. The normally chaotic GapKids store was transformed into a civilized showroom, complete with fashion writers and baby models.
The line arrives in stores this month, and captures Stella’s version of “a perfect childhood summer wardrobe.” My own kids tend to consider a bathing suit and a pair of flip flops their perfect summer wardrobe, but I can see how this line could complement their wardrobe.
Pieces range from $18 for fun animal tanks
to $58 for beautiful eyelet dresses.
The hot colour for kids in this collection is a beautiful bright orange, as shown on model Connor.

Sizes range from 0 to 14, and Stella McCartney’s first collection for GapKids last Fall flew out of the stores, with the petite women buying some of the larger sizes for themselves. I may go back to try this blouse on to freshen up my own Spring wardrobe.
