With eight kiddies in the house I have become pretty skilled at the whole party planning thing, but with the twins 1st birthday just a few weeks away I haven’t done a thing yet and for the first time I am feeling a bit lost.
Realistically Thatcher and Tanner are not going to give a rat’s ass what we plan for them. Each and every day they are lavished with hugs, kisses, and loads of play time so really they get more than their fair of attention.
Nope this birthday really is for me. From the day I found out I was pregnant the rollercoaster ride just kept getting more and more intense. From twin to twin transfusion, to IGUR, to being told flat out to expect the demise of Tanner the drama and emotion never stopped. It continued when they finally made their early entrance into the world and into the hub of our crazy family. To this day it hasn’t stopped.
For me this year has been one filled with so much emotion I can’t even begin to explain or describe it. Thatcher and Tanner fought to come into our lives and continued to fight through their stay in NICU, issues with feeding, developmental delays due to being pre-mature, and then to simply thriving. It is unbelievable where they are today.

On January 29 we will not only celebrate a first birthday but will have a celebration of the milestones and achievements that Thatcher and Tanner have accomplished so far.
What are your thoughts on the first birthdays? How do you celebrate?
Until next time

I am only writing to make you know what a amazing experience our girl gained checking your web page. She figured out a good number of issues, including how it is like to possess an awesome coaching character to have others without difficulty know precisely some tortuous issues. You undoubtedly surpassed our expected results. Thank you for producing the necessary, healthy, educational not to mention cool guidance on the topic to Evelyn.

If you’re still on the fence: grab your favorite earphones, head down to a Best Buy and ask to plug them into a Zune then an iPod and see which one sounds better to you, and which interface makes you smile more. Then you’ll know which is right for you.

First Birthdays are always special! I had a huge birthday for Julian, many people, lot’s of kids, music, lot’s and lot’s of food. I had like three cakes! I have to say it was crazy, but even thou Julian doesn’t remember anything. I have that memory and Julian has it on camera. Once in awhile he will watch it and say to me. Thanks mom for making this party for me and recording it, so that I have this to look at.

How wonderful!! And what handsome little babes they are, Chantel! Yes, I think the first (and second, and third) birthdays are for the parents, more than for the kids – but they love the fun and the attention, even if they’ll never remember any of it. Have fun, no matter how you celebrate!! (Jan. 29th was Madame’s due date… she came a week early.)
