What you should see:
they are showing the first season of The OC on Much Music in Canada. at 7. every night. so, my lovely little DVR has been recording it for me. and since i’ve been suffering from slight insomnia the last couple of days, i’ve been watching the lovely little OC. and i can’t stop. the first season was soo not like how i remembered it. Summer was so skankslut. Seth was almost unbearably white-and-nerdy. Julie’s hair was seven different shades of bottled red (and Kirsten’s was equally as bad). and the clothing? it seems so dated. except for Ryan’s gray hoodie, of course, because, rawr.
What you should listen to:
Some people don’t think he’s funny at all…but i am a HUGE Dane Cook fan. of his comedy, not of his movies. let’s get that one straight. his show at Madison Square Garden is hilarious. One of my personal favorites is when he starts talking about how he is convinced that he was in the civil war.
What you should buy:
wall letters from Dimples and Dandelions. I got a set for Isabella’s room. They are stunning. We got the Shabby Daisy and Dots pattern. It’s beautiful. It takes up an entire wall in her room because her name is 8 letters long and my stepmom bought us the 10 inch letters. but they are stunning. stunning. i highly recommend.
Where you should go:
you need to have a date night at Target…and while you are there, please pick up a pair of these for me my toddler…because i could probably die from the cuteness.
oh, you were looking for a real recommendation, eh?
well, if you live in Canada, or even if you don’t, you might be getting what some call the ‘winter blahs’…i know that i sure am. especially considering it was so cold this morning that the inside of my nose froze (i’m so not even kidding…it’s like -20 out there, which to all you people who think in fahrenheit like i do, that’s -4)
but, perhaps instead of getting blah’ed out by all the cold weather, why not embrace it and go skiing??
Personally, I’m a big fan of Mont Tremblant in Quebec. It’s beautiful, there’s skiing for everyone (from crappy skiers like me to good skiers like the husband) and it’s affordable. you can rent chalets of all sizes that are super duper close to the slopes

LOVE the boots! Have the exact same ones in tan. Don’t you love Target?
Ok, I tried snowboarding ONCE and biffed it REALLY bad! Had to have physical therapy. Yeah, needless to say, I’m not a big fan. I grew up surfing. I think I’ll stick to the sunny beaches! If I can get my ass in shape! LOL!
