Sunday brunch at any good restaurant in Toronto (rare these days).
A hot cup of really good coffee in the morning, especially while looking out over a lake on a canoe trip.
Snuggling with the girls in bed while reading bedtime stories.
Hiking through the forest trails on a crisp autumn afternoon.
Lively political discussions with friends at a pub (doesn’t happen much any more) or around a dinner table.
Exploring new places.

Some of my favourite things are the rarities – sleeping in, finding enough quiet time to read a book, finding enough alone time to paint my nails AND let them dry…
But I do so love hearing my kids laugh their heads off together – and that happens a lot. I love fireplaces (its almost cool enough to start lighting ours at night!) and I love me some good wine too.
It’s the little things, right? Yes.
