Welcome to my closet!
for the past year and a bit, i have been participating in a flickr pool called working closet whereupon i have taken many, many pictures of myself in front of my front hall mirror. occasionally, you get to see some cameos by my little pajama’ed monsters, Emily, Josh, and Isabella. As narcissistic as this pool might seem, it has been such a good exercise for me.
It’s forced me to try to not rewear the same three things over and over. It has forced me to try NEW styles so i don’t always look exactly. the. same. every day. It has forced me to move away from my comfort color, black, of course. It has forced me into new stores. It has opened my eyes.
So, now i come to with an open mind and an open closet to bring to you the newest Urbanmoms.ca blog, The Urban Closet. I will be sharing my daily clothing shot. I will also be sharing some of my kids’ wardrobe shots. I will be offering some fashion tips and advice. I will be dishing about some of my favorite pieces in my wardrobe (hello, true religion jeans!) I will be telling you where you can find the things you are looking for – at various price points. I will even be test-driving some clothing to let you know where you can buy the best sports bras in canada, or the most comfy black t-shirts. I may even get to go to some events (*cough* fashion week *cough*) and be bringing you come pictures and news from them.
