What child hasn’t loved the antics of mischevious Peter Rabbit and the other lovable animal characters brought to life by author Beatrix Potter? These wonderful tales have been passed down through generations, and now you can “recycle” the tale once again with the new The Tale of Peter Rabbit Green Edition.
(Helen)
Beatrix Potter was born in 1866 in London where she was privately
educated. During most of her adult life, she lived in a farm cottage in
Sawrey, Westmoreland County. She wrote
and privately published “The Tale of Peter Rabbit” for an invalid child
in 1900. This story became a children’s classic throughout the world. Her tales are illustrated by her
own hand in delicate and detailed watercolor pictures depicting her
characters. At
her death in 1943, she bequeathed her property in Sawrey to Britain’s
National Trust, which also maintains her home as a museum.
Potter’s beloved tale is now part of the Peter Rabbit . . . Naturally
Better publishing program. Designed with a green pattern printed on the
cover to eliminate excess waste, this special edition is made from
safe, recyclable, sustainable, and ethically responsible sources.
A portion of all sales of this special green edition of The Tale of Peter Rabbit is donated to environmental causes.

Love this book, I actually found a colouring book copy of the story years ago and with my class, over a school year coloured in all of the pictures it is a wonderful keepsake that my own children now enjoy
