Over the past months, the other four McMoms and I have really had a chance to bond. My experiences and this adventure have been enriched because of each of these amazing women.
We may come from different geographical regions, have different careers and have children of different ages but we are all moms. We have fun on visits, we ask bold questions, but our visit to the Ronald McDonald House in London was the first time I shed a tear (and I was not alone).
We are five moms representing all you moms across Canada, we are all different yet ordinary moms just like you… the House united us all on one common thread; no mom wants to think about one of her precious children falling ill and having to be hospitalized. When we left the London House, we all made a pact to get involved with our local houses… I encourage each of you to do the same!

I think this is fabulous! Five very different women who share one very important thing – motherhood. How powerful.

Thanks for sharing this, Corinne. It is important to recognize the wonderful things McDonald’s does within our communities.
