Summer has arrived early! I know, I know, us Torontonians can never predict the weather for long stretches of time…it could snow next week, right? But we are grateful for any teasers that Mother Nature wants to throw our way and for any chance to plunk ourselves on a patio these days!
So on this beautiful HOT summer(like) day Indigo was blessed with the most perfect weather as they held their Summer Preview Event at their flagship store downtown on Bloor Street.
How rewarding is this? Some lucky Plum Rewards and loyal ireward members were treated to an afternoon of wine, bbq at this Summer preview event! Journalist and author KIM IZZO was mingling and signing her best selling novel “The Jane Austen’s Marriage Manual” …. BTW, it was just noted as #1 on the Publisher’s Weekly International list – it looks like a PERFECT summer read and I can’t wait to sink my teeth into it!!
Popular Chef Rob Rainford was also there cooking up a storm for the crowd from his latest book BORN TO GRILL. So delicious...and the book too!
Beautiful displays of summer patio wares and home accessories, inspired by the Mediterranean and the Seaside, made me want to buy everything!
Now would someone pass me a wine spritzer and send me off to the Hamptons or Santorini please!
I’m ready!
In the meantime, my “oasis in the city” will definitely include the patio plates and stemware!
