Okay, people. Right out of the gate, this is what I’m going to tell you. Yes, I watched Brad’s first season. Yes, it was kind of a dick move to lead two girls on and then not pick either of them. But, okay, this is a reality tv show. The dudes who DO pick someone almost do the exact same thing, right? They lead at least one girl on and then pick the other at the end, due to the way the show works logistically. And then, well, you guys know the formula…they are “the happiest they have ever been” and are “very much in love” and then they have a huge scandalous People Magazine feature about their breakup. So, I get why some people are cautious with Brad…but why so much HATE? Really? REALITY TV, people!!
So, with that being said, I’m guessing most of this drama is producer-driven to make this THE MOST CONTROVERSIAL BACHELOR YET! and I’m guessing that the infamous slap was totally a produced stunt.

What I am not sure about is, well, the girl with the fangs?
What? Seriously? What is this about? And how on earth did she not get the boot in the first round of roses?
Speaking of roses…My pick for the final four are:
Alli Travis. I can’t tell if I actually like her, or I find her kind of annoying. But I’m going with my gut on this one.
Chantal O’Brien. She is the slapper. Obviously she goes far.
Emily Maynard. She not only has a really horrible sob story (that always makes for good tv), but she seems like she is kind of awesome. And it doesn’t hurt that she’s gorgeous.
Shawntel Newton. She is a funeral director. I automatically love her.
I realize that it’s early days here, but, anyway, this is my guess.
SO? Who is ready to play the “three years of therapy” and “changed man” drinking game?

I picked Emily from the get-go, not knowing that her fiance was Ricky Hendrick – of Hendrick Racing…so me thinks that Emily has mucho moola! (and some serious veneers!) But I like her.
And I agree with you all – I think it was noble (huh?) of him to not pick either if he didn’t feel it. Ya he may have lead them to believe he chose but whatevs. Like you said – reality tv people. Get over it.
I just don’t get the THREE years of backlash. The guy was in therapy for god sakes!
Seriously! The girls were so annoying and whiny and omg please don’t break my heart. Pathetic, much? Also, I never knew Brad had that big ass tattoo on his back.
I love you. I feel the exact same – I don’t get the controversy over the non-pick. And in all of the Bach/Bachelorette history – Deanna P drives me the MOST insane…I wanted to slap her the other night. Dude, you picked Jessie – you know he’s a boarder and not a cash guy and then dumped him for not being serious…whatever.
ANYWAY can we add the drink every time he calls Chris Harrison ‘man’?
I also agree with Emily but the fangs and funeral director are going home. I think the other single mom may make it for awhile as well. They need a beyotch all the time.
I heard the ratings were the worst in the history of the show.
