Winter kind of sucks. And so do Mondays.
To make the wintry start of every week a tad more bearable I have instigated a new Monday night tradition: at 8 pm, a few girlfriends trickle in through the door, stomping the snow off their boots and we curl up on the couch, sip some wine and watch The Bachelor.
It might not sound like much, but it’s basically my favourite night of the week.
How do you get through these long winter weeks that seem to drag and drag with no sign of spring in sight?

I got sucked into the Bachelor this past Monday….oh noooo. It’s so good yet so bad! I’m surviving by going to bed early. Last night I was in bed before the kids next door! (I can hear through the walls). I love your TGIM…awesomeness.

You know it is funny, 10 years ago my girlfriends and I did the exact same thing!! The Bachelor is still the worst show on TV (can not believe it has been on the air since 2002), but a night with girlfriends is what makes it the nicest night of the week!

This is the one and only time (EVER) I’ll be able to brag about the Fraser Valley’s weather…. but the past week and a bit we’ve had +6 to +11 degree weather, clear blue skies and sunshine around here. It’s truly a cathartic thing when everything else in life is feeling a little heavy.
I love the idea of a girls night, although this year’s Bachelor girls are a little too nuts for me.
