It seems like there’s too much gameplay too early in this game. We don’t even know anyone yet, and there’s backstabbing and blindsiding aplently. Matt? Really? Because he was polite to the other team? Because a “showmance” could make it far in the game?
I will say, however, that while I am ready to watch Russell’s torch get snuffed and I was thrilled beyond belief that Ralph found the way-too-easy-to-find hidden immunity idol before Russell did, I am enjoying Boston Rob and his confessionals “I don’t know if he’s delusional. I think he’s a good-hearted guy. I do. Just might not all be there. Let it be a lesson to you. Government jobs — stressful.”and his social game with Phillip, even if he is orchestrating a little bit too much.
Hmmm…what else. Crazy Phillip goes hunting for baby crabs in his skivvies. Awesome. The only bad thing was not having Francesca giving a snarky confessional about it, because, you know, she’s off on redemption island having a big ole party. Seriously, girl would rather be alone on this island than back at camp. Interesting, that.
The real question we have here is not about Matt and showmances and redemption island and how long are they going to let Russell stay on this show or whether or not they are going to get Ralph some razors for his back hair…and whether or not the dude who playes, what, SIX GAMES in the NFL can be titled ex-NFL player, but..this…
SEE? Even Jeff Probst isn’t buying that this dude was a federal agent. HA!
